Did you know as an employer you may be legally required to contribute to your employees pension?

If your employees are aged 22 or over and earn more than £10,000 per year, you are legally required to automatically enrol them onto a pension scheme.

Currently, this must be paid at a rate of at least 3% of the employee’s earnings between £6,240 and £50,270.

If the employee wishes to opt out of the company pension scheme, you will not need to contribute.

📝 Make a to-do list - we don’t mean a to-do list that you’re going to write and then stuff in your drawer never to be seen again. If this is you, have a think about how you could do this differently. Maybe it’s by using a fancy new app to keep this virtually? @microsoft_todo can be great for this.

👭 Delegate tasks! - it’s so easy to want to control everything in your business, but the more you can let go and trust others, the more time you will free up to focus on other things.

⏰ Time management - set aside time to do things. If you’re finding yourself inundated with emails throughout the day and struggling between dipping in and out of tasks to reply, why not block out certain times of the day to reply to emails instead? Be sure to close your email app and turn off notifications during the time you’ll be spending working on other things.
